INTEGRA
The idea behind Integra is its modular capability and its simplicity. Regardless of the style and particular parameter needs, at Integra´s core is hand picked wood of the highest quality available, which frames all system components as a warm nature centered, sustainable, picture frame.

WINDOWS
The core and crown jewel of the Integra system is its window providing the biggest range of the systems options. With a wide variety of types, the windows may be catogorized as either single or multi leaf system parts either openable, fixed, combination of both and as well as special shaped windows in all options mentioned.
FIXED WINDOWS
Fixed windows are a major part of the Integra system. Being non-openable they are the most minimalistic product of the system with slimmest lines. With its aesthetic fully wooden frame and glass combination, they are also known as picture windows, as they provide a clear view of the surrounding environment without any obstructions. Windows that do not open are also the most flexible parts of the Integra system with many possible shapes, sizes and combinations available. As there are no opening mechanisms nor other clear limiting factors, in practice only the sheer size of the glass and thus the product matter. Because of these factors, the range of possible sizes for a fixed window are very broad and a single casement element with its longest side of up to 4m comes as standard from the production line.
TILT-AND-TURN WINDOWS
The other key ingredient of the Integra system is the tilt-and-turn window. This multifuctional system component can be tilted open from the topp for ventilation, or they can be turned inward from the side for cleaning and full ventilation. To add, a micro-ventilation function is added that opens the seals letting airflow into the rooms without any debris, weather or human, animal or insect related hazards possible to get through. The idea behind the tilt-and-turn, also known as a DK window, is its versatility and practicality. All mentioned functions are controlled by a single, good looking, handle, making it super easy to use. They can be opened and closed with a simple turn of the handle using one hand, making them ideal for people of all ages and abilities.
This also makes It a great choice for hard to reach areas, where ease of access even with a single hand to control all functions is vital. It is also possible to totally omit or limit functionalities like the turn opening, making such windows a great choice for hazardous environments, such as high-rise buildings or even childrens rooms on floors higher than the ground floor where for example ventilation would easily be obtained using the handle, but fully opening the window for washing would be limited to the use of a key.
Tilt-and-turn windows are also very secure. They are designed with multiple locking points around the frame, which makes the difficult to break and/or difficult to break into. To add to the security provided by the hardware, as the Integra system uses hardwood, which is a sturdy material, for the production of framses and sashes, the system as a whole provides an added level of security and peace of mind for homeowners and business owners alike.
The windows also have a micro-ventilation feature, providing a gap at the top of the casement, which allows replacement air to flow unobstructed. All DK windows are manufactured either left or right hand operable. When the window is seen from inside, the side where hinges are placed defines the window to be either left or right hand.
The entire system is based on central locking and is controlled with onehandle. Locking points are placed not only on a locking side, but also intop and bottom parts and – depending on window size – as well on a hinge side. All locking bolts and hinges are adjustable.

OPENING
FUNCTIONS
TILT FUNCTION
This is the main ventilation function. Use this for daily ventilation purposes.
MICRO VENTILATION
In this position the window seals are slightly loose so that air passes through but other elements like snow and rain stay on the outside.
SERVICE MODE
Side opening is designed for window servicing and cleaning. Use this function only for this purpose.
CLOSED POSITION
In this position the window is closed and sealed from the elements.
COMBINATIONS
The name of the system gives away the idea behind it – to integrate. Integra combinations as a principal idea is a cornerstone of this integrity that enables countless options formed into one, single, element. This approach serves many great purposes from design all the way to the building site and its practical challenges. The idea, simply put, is to take any window, and door types, combine them together into a single piece as seen fit, given that reasonable element sizes are formed.
From a design perspective, Integra combinations makes the slimmest possible lines a reality. Without connecting different pieces together on the site, the lines are clean, maximizing the visibility and views. Having different applications in one single unit also eliminates the need to use cover strips or other means of hiding the connections, thus providing an aesthetically appealing solution.
SPECIAL SHAPES
Shaped windows are a popular architectural feature that can add both Aesthetic appeal and functionality to a building. These windows come in a variety of shapes, including arched, circular, triangular, and irregular shapes, and they can be used to create unique and visually striking designs.
Another huge benefit of special shapes is their ability to enhance the architectural style of a building. Shaped windows can be used to complement a building´s existing design elements or to add a unique eye-catching feature. For example, arched windows can be used to add a sense of grandeur to a building, while circular windows can create a more playful and whimsical aesthetic. Triangular windows however can add to the architecture of gable roofed houses by opening up the walls to extra light.
Providing options for more light is a vital part of shaped windows as they create a sense of openness and connection to the outdoors. By using large or uniquely shaped windows, a building can create a visual connection to the surrounding landscape, blurring the lines between outdoors and indoors. This is particularly effective in building that are located in areas with beautiful scenery or areas with stunning views.
Additionally to the aesthetic appeal, shaped windows create many practical benefits that regular windows may not in certain areas and conditions. Integra triangular windows that reach the ceiling of gable roofed house help provide ample light. In other cases these windows can also be opened for ventilation in multi story house bedrooms and other parts of the house that would normally stay unventilated with bad interior climate. Integra special shapes however helps create ventilation and natural airflow.
Within the Integra system, it is possible to combine shaped windows into one single element using the Integra combinations as well as connecting them using Integra Connect.
INTEGRA EI-30 FIRE
RESISTANT WINDOWS
Fire resistant windows are an important safety feature in any building, particularly those in high-risk areas. These windows are designed to withstand fire for a minimum of 30 minutes without compromising its structural integrity or releasing significant amounts of smoke and harmful gases.
EI-30 fire resistant windows are made of materials that can resist high temperatures and prevent the spread of flames and smoke from one area to another. The idea and the main benefit of an EI-30 window is to provide extra time for people to evacuate a building in case of a fire. The minimum 30-minute protection time allows for the fire department to arrive and extinguish the fire before it spreads further, minimizing damage and losses.
The Integra EI-30 fire resistant windows are part of the Integra system and thus have the same design characteristics of a typical window. Looking the same makes the design of the house an aesthetic whole even while some of the windows may indeed be fire resistant. To withstand extreme heat and fire, the Integra EI-30 windows have more limitations than other parts of the system, but still provide ample opportunities for design and dynamical architecture with both fixed, openable as well as combination windows as possible solutions.
